Vestal Makers is a new collection that salutes craftsmanship and those artisans who embrace unique handmade products. These items aren’t mass produced. They are limited edition, signed and numbered watch straps attached to Vestals finest watch heads and buckles. These straps are cut, sewn and finished by a leathersmith using time honored methods, right here in Costa Mesa, California. Each item is hand assembled using the highest quality full grain leathers, traditional knives, awls and waxed heavy thread creating a more durable and longer lasting product.Inspired by vintage camera & lens designs, The Retrofocus by Vestal is most certainly one of a kind. The Retrofocus Makers Edition first reveals its design inspiration through a very unique way of using camera ISO levels to indicate hours. A domed, hardened mineral lens is then coated with anti-reflective material and mounted onto a 3-piece case that is knurled in design. The Retrofocus is finished with a handmade leather strap secured by saddle stitching using 1mm waxed thread and a stainless steel buckle.

The Retro focus first reveals its design inspiration through a very unique way of using camera ISO levels to indicate hours. A domed, hardened mineral lens is then coated with anti-reflective material and mounted onto a 3-piece case that is knurled in design. The Retro focus is finished with a thick Italian Leather Strap secured by solid German stitching, a stainless steel buckle and two keepers (one fixed, stainless steel keeper together with a secondary, oversized Italian Leather keeper.)
