The watch diameter was increased from 40 to 44 millimeters, giving an even more generous impression in combination with the reduced case edge. The dial now covers almost the entire visible area of the watch face and the maximized scale reaches to the very edge of the dial, thus again improving readability. At the same time, the delicate pointer now has an enlarged counterweight to ensure both visual and mechanical balance. The double-domed sapphire glass emphasizes the clear and elegant lines of this exquisite watch. On the other hand, great design is not just a question of appearanceÑafter all, Klaus Botta is an industrial designer with a focus on engineering and advocates the Òform follows functionÓ principle. Not only the meticulously crafted watch face but also the specially designed watchcase bottom is proof to that. The lugs are hidden at the case bottom. Therefore, despite its diameter of 44 millimeters, the UNO+ is perfectly suitable even for the slender wrist. When the wearer moves, the beveled edges of the watchcase bottom will smoothly cling to his or her arm, giving maximum room to move while ensuring sufficient air circulation. Thanks to this extraordinary bottom design, the watch, which is already just 6.2 mm in height, looks even flatter. After the assembly, each UNO+ watch is submitted to a multi-stage inspection and several drift checks and will be shipped only after passing all checks and inspections successfully.
