Casio G-shock x pigalle Limited addition black watch DW5600PGB-1 Review

French boutique/brand Pigalle links with Casio to reinterpret the DW-5600. Started by Stephane Ashpool in 2008, the Parisian outpost, named after a storied red-light district in the City of Lights, is lauded for its tasteful curation of merchandise (everything to sneakers to clothing from rare Japanese brands). As a brand, Pigalle has produced highly sought-after hoodies and other clothing items, and it has collaborated with Nike for well received capsule collections. For this project, Pigalle reimagines the iconic watch through the filter of its signature aesthetic, and what comes forth is a clean, minimal “edit” that achieves a lot w/ just a slight tweak. Of course, all the features that make the timepiece a winner on the function front are left intact.
